Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) formally known as iERSA is an optimised web browser and document reader application that provides an easy interface to online aviation resources such as weather, flight briefings, en route supplements, aerodrome and runway information, your own uploaded documents.
I dont write iPhone/iPad apps for a living, Im a private pilot and hope that you find this app as useful in the cockpit as I do, so please bear in mind that is a continuing work in progress and if you have a suggestion please visit my web site and provide some constructive feedback.
If you want find this app useful and you want me to continue to make this app better, write a review and rate this app.
The iPad version has a weather radar viewer.
EFB does not contain a copy of any aviation publications, and users are responsible for obtaining and using the aviation publications in accordance with the applicable copyright laws.
By using EFB you will have all your in-flight documentation in one small compact device, saving your room in the cockpit.
EFB is an alternative to using Safari to download and view the aviation publications such as En Route Supplements such as the ERSA and Pre-Flight Briefings such as NAIPS. Aviation publications downloaded are cached and available when Internet connectivity is not available. Much more easy to use than bringing your laptop into the cockpit.
You can transfer downloaded or cached files to/from your PC via WiFi or iTunes.
